Through Matilde’s eyes, you will have the chance to admire the Canossa’s territories and Enza valley’s fortifications -places rich in history and tradition- to learn how to recognize, respect and enhance them.

5-STEP
ITINERARY
1. MATILDE'S CHILDHOOD
This first scene is an introduction to Matilde and her story. You will meet her as she will narrate first-hand her life and you will discover her pains, her dreams and her personality.
2. THE BATTLES
The second scenes introduces us to the Canossa territories with its castles, its economy and the battles Matilde fought over them. You will be astounded by the strength of the most ancient of modern women.
3. THE ABSOLUTION
Here you will discover the Castle of Canossa as it was at Matilde’s times and the repentance and absolution of the emperor Henry IV in front of the Pope Gregory VIIV.
4. THE CASTLE
Immerse yourself in a virtual tour of the castle and the surrounding village as it appeared a thousand years ago. Through Matilde’s eyes you will live an unforgettable experience.
5. MATILDIC LANDS (groups only)
Premium. There will be a fifth scene available exclusively to organized groups that will present an exclusive 360° virtual tour of the Val d’Enza territories.
